Krisyn Vineyards was planted in the spring of 2004 by Mesa Vineyard Management. Located in the El Pomar District, the southwest facing slopes are cooled by the Templeton Gap breezes, so we have the advantages of warm days with cooler afternoons and evenings.  The soils are Linne Calado which features limestone sub soils that appear at the surface on hilltops such as ours.

We specialize in growing premium Petite Sirah and Merlot.   Our seven acres of Merlot are clone 181 which is highly regarded for quality.  Our Merlot is planted on 1103P rootstock.  Four and a half acres of Petite Sirah is planted on 1103P rootstock and the remaining two and a half acres is planted on 110R rootstock.
